TIME CODE – Setting Sequence Starting Time Code
METHOD ONE:
Changing The Starting TC At Any Time
Note: The method detailed below is new in version 5. In earlier releases, prior to version 5,
the menu selection will be "Get Clip Info," and the keyboard shortcut is Command (Apple Key) plus the letter "i".
- Load the sequence into the Timeline.
- Place your cursor over the Record Monitor.
- Click your mouse to activate the Record Monitor.
- Go to: FILE MENU > "Get Sequence Info" -or- Right-Click on the record monitor and select "Get Sequence Info"
- A dialog box will appear (as pictured below).
You may then type in the required starting TC value.

METHOD TWO:
Setting The Default Starting TC For All New Sequences
- Open up your Settings and scroll down to the General Settings as pictured below:

- Double-click to open the General Settings and simply enter the default starting value you require:

- Now, each time you create a new sequence it will begin at the TC value you set as your default.
